How do you feel about taking the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)?

I feel ok about taking the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE). Because i know that i have to take it in order to graduate. I really want to graduate. This is high school and i need to stop playing around and start turning in my work. Also i need to start finishing my work. Taking this test is kind of scary but at my other school i took a CAHSEE practice test. It was kind of hard but i think i did good on them. I dont really remember my scores. But i am confident enough to know if i do well in my classes and pay attention, that i will pass the CAHSEE.

Academic Language Week 2 - Cars

Would you want a car that drives itself?  Yes because its a high use of technology that can help people in so many different ways. Yea, it may be tons of money but just think about the good use it will give. All the money you spend on the car wont be a waste.

This amazing piece of technology will drive itself, this is a great METHOD that will have you do nothing. Just think about it, you get in your car and all you have to do is press a few buttons and then just sit back and relax. That would really be amazing.

Also a car that will drive itself will allow less accidents to OCCUR the car can easily be managed by all the gadgets it has. But just think about it, having to steer the car and accidently slip your hand on the steering wheel and could’nt step on the break fast enough, then there you have it, a car accident.

Having a car that will do all the work and just drive its self, would be easier to PROCEED. it would be easier to manage. Just imagine your foot hurts or you have cramps in your fingers, and its just to much pain to b using them, but then you have to get somewhere important. Thats when the car that drives itself comes in handy.

In conclusion, having a car that drives itself is a safe and efficient way to get around. The good thing about it is you dont even have to do much. No steering or stomping on the breaks. Just sit back and relax.  I think if everyone had a chance to get this car, they should take it. This is a great piece of beauty and technology.

Homonyms Practice Blog Paragraph

She slammed her phone onto the table and began to cry. She relized that THEIR love wasnt working. A few minutes later he called back, she answered and screamed "YOU'RE a STUPID idiot." He explained " I wanted to be THERE for you, but I made a mistake." I know that YOUR parents were right about me. But THEY'RE going to relize in the end that i am the perfect guy for you.

Academic Language Week 22 - Felons Voting

I believe that felons should not be allowed to vote. felons already comitted a crime, they shouldnt have a say for our econemy. I think that this is complex because they messed up and have to pay time for it. Felons already messed up for themself we dont need them to mess up for everyone else to. This is revelent because voting isnt going to affect them, if there locked up. There should be  a system for them not to vote, i think that would be a good source because what they have to say dosnt matter because they messed up for them self.

Poetry Previous Knowledge Paragraph

My favorite poet is Mya Angelo because she writes her poems with meaning. I really like her poem called  " Still I'll Rise" because she gives me a lot of inspration in her poems. When I read her poem it motivated me. I felt like anything is possible. Also i like to read out side the box and to see what everything means. I can relate myself to some of the things she writes about.

Second Semester 2012 Goals

My goal for the second semester of the 2011-2012 school year is get straight A's.
I selected this goal because I think im a hard worker.
I will achieve this goal by making sure that I study hard and turn in all my work.
At the end of the semester, I will know I achieved my goal by having all A's on my report card.
